DS games

I dont know if I dreamt it or read it somewhere.

Does Nintendo DS games only work in your own DS and you cant resell them on and they work in other DS machiens ??

Some will store information on the cart itself (High scores, progress etc) but these can be cleared if you wish to sell it on, wont affect it being used on another DS if you dont clear them, they will just be available to the next user

I think it's online games you're thinking about. The way I understand it is that game cards are linked with the console and won't work online with another console, but you can clear the data to get it working.

I think your friend code that's used for the online service is unique to your copy of the game and your console. So if you used a different game cart you wouldn't have the same friend code, neither would you if you used the same cart on someone else's DS.
