ha, interesting.... if it is true then Nintendo already have a plan on DS-lite when they release their Mario Kart DS.... :confused:

btw, anyone of you had already pre-ordered a DS-Lite? I just thinking, is there any need to pre-order one?

I pre-ordered one a while back, end of last month I think. Just waiting for the phone call from the game shop now

I was 99% sure it isn't possible as there is no SDK call to find out and Nintendo Tech Support say it isn't possible.

I checked it anyway and it is false. Mario says Yahoo on both types of DS.

A bit of a shame for developers tho'.

Why? Both systems perform identically so there should be no difference between games played on the 2 hardware versions.
