I have been looking at getting a DS for ages. one gripe was that it didn't have that sexy look or feel.

And now the DS Lite. WOW I think a lot of people have been swayed to buy one of these new and improved handhelds.

I for one am ganna start saving my money to get one.

Dose anyone know when these will be out in the UK? and how much?

looks like the ablility of WiFi will sway even more people to join the DS group.

So anyone else thinking of getting one of these due to the re design?

I'm definitely getting one. Got my current silver one for £40 used a while ago so gives me more incentive to buy a second one now so that I can play against my sibling on Mario Kart etc...Although I would love to import one from Japan on launch and show off to my mates, I think I'll wait until the UK launch, and buy some new released games at the same time as I don't think any of the current GBA/DS adapters work with it.
 
I will be getting one of these too.. As well as my Micro...lol!

I loved my PSP but it lacked the Fun factor on the nintendo consoles... Although technically inferior they make up for it in the fun stakes... And i always was woried with my psp that i was going to scratch it or damage it some how... With the Nintendo stuff they have a far superior kickaboutability... ;) (Technical Term)

Glad to hear your also getting a DS. might have to go oline with it and kick your booty on mariokart or somthing :D
