DS lite Or PSP ???

Hi everone i hope i can get some good opinions here.. i am not sure of what portable games console i should get. The nintendo DS or the playstation portable please can i have your opinions on which and why you would choose that concole and not the other one.

i know what the psp does i just want the console for gaming. but i dont really know what you can do with a ds
