DS Lite Repair

Ok my step daughters ds lite got dropped and the hinge is broken, anyone know of any reputable places to get it repaired/re-cased, dont mind sending it off by post so long as the company is reputable.

I have had a quick google but dont know which ones are trust worthy.

I'd be really interested by this too - my wife's old style DS has broken at the hinges, and my daughter has a damaged upper screen.

Strangely, my pre-launch DS is still unharmed.

Honestly do it yourself, I did it last Dec and ended up with an extra bargin xmas pressy for the missus.

Pick up a replacement case (including all screws, buttons, sticky bits, etc) from Deal Extreme for about £6 (http://www.dealextreme.com/details.dx/sku.7276).

Then follow this guide (http://www.console-central.com/content/view/3671/35/) or one of the many you tube vids.

1-2 Hours if you take your time and do it carefully.

Simples.

No, third party but perfectly fine in every way, in fact i would even say better quality/feel. The one I had was satin black but with a metalic red top.
