Not sure how to phrase this but how should the touch screen feel when you use it with the stylus?

On my one, it's almost like touching the top screen. On my GFs, it's almost as if there's a small gap between the protective film and the actual screen which causes it to depress slightly when using it. This affects the accuracy when using the stylus.

There are 2 types. Grainy and grid.

Grainy:

Very hard top layer but produces a haze over the picture. The touch screen requires less force to use but likewise it is easier to make mistakes. The screen can have a yellow tint.

Grid:

Can see a grid array of dots under a very very bright spotlight. The picture looks identical to the top screen and the screen "gives" a bit when touching the screen. Takes a little bit more pressure to use and is by far the superior version IMO.

Both types are as durable as each other as I've owned 2 DSs and a DS lite with various screen types. It is random which one you get and neither are defective.

Thanks for clarifying that Kreeeee :D

It got progressively worse to the point that it was clicking when being pressed and playing Sudoko was difficult because it wasn't writing properly.

I took it back and got it replaced for another :)
