DS Lite WIFI setup help

I'm trying to set wifi up on my sons ds as he has now got metroid hunters (for 4 quid off the bay) Unless I am going mad there are no options in any of the menu's to set the wifi up. I have looked in the setup menu's without the game in, in the game itself. Very confused!??! :confused:

When you try and go online with Metroid or any game that is Wi-fi compatible you'll be asked to set up a Wi-fi connection but the only encription you can use is a WEP

tried that still not bringing anything up about wifi, if i select multiplayer it just gives a message about no other players as if its trying to find them locally rather than online. :confused:

Just to check - it is the full game you have bought, and not just the demo cart that came with the first lot of DS at launch - Metroid Prime Hunters: First Hunt ?

Every DS game which has support for Nintendo's Wifi network will have configuration screens for setting up the Wifi details.

Just checked, yes definately the full game, boxed and everything there, even says on the box wifi internet play with broadband. This really is a mystery now, is there an option in the DS settings to configure wifi even without an online game present? if there is its not there on this DS?? :confused:

the other odd thing is other than training there is no "adventure" mode in the game options, I've done the training ones reasonably but can't see a further single player option.

No.

The option for configuring the Wifi is always from the menu of the game itself.

There was just Training in the Metroid Prime Hunters First Hunt demo cart....

Just noticed the cartridge is different title to the box/instructions, the cart is "first hunter demo", damm been scammed although I guess for 3 quid can't grumble too much.
