DS3 and E6300 problems

well luckily me and jcs live close to overclockers so we can go straight to the shop. we tried everything to sort her pc. power supply, audio drivers (which seem to keep showing a BSOD from time to time.) graphics drivers, memory test, and updating the bios. nothing seems to have worked. any one got any suggestions on what else we can try. we cant put another gfx card in to test as we dont have a spare lying around atm, unless i take the one out of my pc to try out.

an akasa 650 watt.

i have rang overclockers and explained the situation and they gave me something to try so im gonna see if it works. if not im gonna take the stuff into overclockers

not that i'm trying to send you on a wild goose chase or anything( :) ), but if that 650w akasa is the one listed in the OCUK catalogue, its still only rated at a max of 18A on the 12V rails.

These more powerful cards, like the X1900, sit happiest on something with at least 20A on the 12V rails, so it still could be a problem there.

Personally, ive only got a 7600gt, so I don't know for sure what the X1900 is best running on. Perhaps someone else who has one could shed some light on this?
