My optical drives were running slow on this mobo. So I enabled IDE/RAID in the BIOS for the IDE channel. Big improvement in Optical Drives but in Device Manager I now have 9 entries under IDE ATA/ATPI controllers. This is not a RAID setup on the mobo, just 2 hard drives and 2 optical.The listing are 2 SATA, 3X Primary and 3 X Secondery and 1 Standard Dual Channel IDE controlller. Something wrong here I think. What can |I do? I think it should just be 2 X SATA and 1 X Standard Dual Channel IDE controller. Anyone any ideas? Thanks
