Will the DS3 with the E6300 OC 2 3.0ghz or is that the DS4, I know u need the cooling aswell i just cant remember which board it was.

nope, only a few volatage increases, but not massive amounts. RAM at 2.1V, vcore on 1.328 according to CPUZ, +1 on the mch and fsb or whatever they are.

Using a zalman 9500 led for cooling.

wouldn't know about that. Generally, good aircooling is almost on par with good watercooling, so you have to decide if its worth the extra hassle and cost.

I think quite a few would debate that dude. You would need to get a cooler with a very loud fan to compete with a watercooling setup. The temps of cpus cooled by waterblocks are deceptively high (in comparison to those cooled by air) due to the fact that there is a lot of stagnant hot air around the cpu when watercooling.

The best way to see if watercooling is any better than air is to use the highest possible overclock. And when this is done you will find that water cooling has a definite advantage over air - not only in highest overclock, but also in significantly lower noise output.

I think watercooling is pretty trick, But i also want something thats gonna cool the CPU down and not kick out a lot of noise, The Freezer 7 Pro seems pretty silent but would a cheap watercooler pump be the same or be quieter.

I've got a zalman 9500. mainly cos its pretty good, and looks pretty with my clear side panel.

Haven't tried *** freezer 7, but it is supposed to be very good.

Keep in mind that once you go watercooled, and you have the pump rad and the block in place, whenever you upgrade you wont have to repurchase the entire kit. You will just need to replace the block of the item that you are cooling (eg. in this case the cpu). In terms of noise, air cooling cant even come close to water. Those huge air coolers with 120mm fans on them make a racket compared to the setup that I have. In fact, during the Winter, I can pretty much shut down the fans on my radiators and run passive (though I do have 2 radiators to pull this off).

The initial expense of watercooling though is high.
