hi,
I know this is silly but after I got my ds3 adn freezer 7 today I got kinda scared as the thing looks huge.. and since I am planning of ocing the heck out of it, I kinda need to replace the stock northbridge cooler as it sucks as according to most of you..

so the best one available at ocuk is the zalman zm-nbf47 and after looking at the size description, I got worried that it wouldn;t fit together..

could someone who has the same equipment please let me know whether or not they will fit with no problems

also the manufacturer page stats that the nb cooler works better with *** cu7700 series.. is that true? would the artic not cause enough airflow?

please help

dont bother with a replacement northbridge heatsink just get a 40mm fan and glue it on top of the existing one, reading around the temps shouldnt go above 45 with a fan on even running dual prime heavily overclocked.

thanks for the quick reply..

so i should just be getting a ys-tech 40mm fan on sale here at 2.29...

cos *** price difference is tiny.. when compared to the price of the parts that i was wondering would it be better if i jsut got a northbridge cooler ..

also is there any problem if i were to use cable ties to hold the fan in place? i mean would there be vibration issues or would it fall off?
please advice
