DS3 noisy compared to the DS4?

I take it the DS3 has a chipset fan and the DS4 has heat pipe?

Is the DS3 noisy?

The DS3 has no chipset fan. Just a heatsink so it does get quite hot.

i replaced the northbridge heatsink for a zalman one and with my fans going it keeps it at a much more reasonable temp
