which one should i get for anadale e6300? or e6400? the ds4 looks a more substantial board? and has silent pipe tech , does this make any differance, will ds4 clock as high as ds3?
are both these boards quad core ready? many thanks?

My DS3 has been lovely. Can't fault it in any way whatsoever. For overclocking, it may turn out ot be better to go for the S3 instead, however, as the only difference is the solid state capacitors, which means the DS3 will last longer, but that is unlikely to be a problem.

I'm running a DS4 here, I went for this one over the DS3 because I wanted the fancy heatpipe :p

As for quad core ready, I'm not sure....the DQ6 definetly is....not too sure about these boards. I'm sure someone else will answer your question. :)

Will check it out. Want kentsfield myself

There is absolutely no board currently on the market that is 100% guaranteed to work with Quad Core as the CPU hasn't been released yet.
Anything you see flying around is early samples and a lot can change between early samples and final release.

There is no reason why any 965 board will not run the quad cores - however at the same time there is no reason why the 955 chipset, all 945 based motherboards and those other 975 boards that don't support Conroe won't actually run Conroe either...

Don't ever buy now with the intention of what will be released in the future - it just doesn't always work that way.
