DS3 - Powers on but not much else

I have a DS3 mobo with a Core2Duo 6300 and 2x 512Mb DDR2 533.

When powering on the mobo, the CPU fan and video card fan spin fine, but i get no video at all (and I've tried 3 different video cards). The other thing that seems odd is that neither the north or south bridge seem to have any noticeable heat ouput.

When attaching a speaker, the mobo give no error beeps, even when started with no ram installed ?

Anyone seen this or have ideas ?

My DQ6 gave continous beeps with no RAM. (Manual wrongly stated 'Power Error) presume the DS3 is the same.
Is PSU OK?

Can anyone confirm if the mobo beeps if you have no cpu / ram. Mine is silent no matter what ?

My last DS3 did that, all the fans span at 100% except the CPU fan and there was no post information display. It was a dead motherboard.

I've not confirmed its the board yet (will do this evening) but sounds the same problem as yours and going by fenderbass` comments it probably is the mobo

GRiDlock its definately your motherboard mate, get it replaced.
