I am having problems with my gigabyte DS3 which leads me to believe that the board is on its way out.
When trying to start the pc, and I know about the cold boot problems, all the fans spin up including the graphics card to the fullest volume but the machine does not post.
Now if you take out the power cord and try again still it will not post but if you do this about five or six times then finally the machine will post and work as normal.
The other problem is that try as hard as I can the machine will not reboot. When I change bios setting or asking windows to reboot after installing a driver it will not do it at all.
Now I have flashed the bios to the latest version just in case that was the problem and loaded the bios with default settings but still no go.
System specs are
C2D 6300 (not overclocked)
4gb Corsair RAM, 1gb in it at the mo
Gigabyte DS3
XFi Xtreme Music (only installed after windows was)
Hauppauge HVR-1300
POV 8800GTS 320mb
Enermax 475w Noisetaker PSU
Lian-li 1000+ case
