Hi Guys just a quick question, got the DS3 but everytime I go to shut it down it simply restarts? The only way to shut it down is by pressing on the power button. Any suggestions? Many thanks in advance

Check your wire config from the front of the case onto the mobo. Something may be ass-ways there. Most likely it's some sort of software bug. Windows repair maybe? Or reinstall? Depends if it really bugs you enough to go to the trouble of reinstalling windows.

If I were you I'd tell windows to shut down then as soon as it starts to boot up again press the power button and it should stop.

Also make sure you hav'nt left Card Readers plugged in USB ect.I used to have this problem with my Mac G4 and sleep mode.It turned out it was the USB 2 pci card I was using. If I forgot to unplug my USB Card reader too, that would stop the system waking up and I would have to reboot everytime. It could be also something in Windows running in background.Mainboard Headers wrong way maybe.
