DS4 Burning Smell

A word to the wise. Installed my board last night and thought I could smell burning, mind you it wouldn't have suprised me BAsically the smell is normal. I have a spare DS4 unused and that smells the same.

Does it just smell constantly? Or is it only when on, or being pushed?
Is the motherboard still working fine despite the smell?

Chip still running fine?

The smell comes from the entire board. I have just pushed 3.5 Ghz on my 6300 with a FSB of 500. Seems to be working fine
