DS4 F7 Bios overclocking?

Hey all,
Yesterday, I checked GigaByte's site and saw they released a new bios, F7. So i flashed, loaded safe defaults, edited all settings at before, including the overclock, bam. NOTHING. It restarts, no beeps, nothing. When I reset nothing happens, when shutdown and restart, nothing. So I take out the battery, wait 5mins and re-place it and everything is on normal again. I dont know, when over 300fsb it just wont boot! No CPU beep, nothing. Everything was perfectly fine on F6, was sitting at 3ghz on stock voltages, now it doesn't do the same. Has anybody got the same problem? Any ideas? This thing is really starting to make me angry... I've tried so many things... sigh.

Any help would be greatly appriciated. I've got a DS4, E6400, 2gb corsair c4. Is it me or just a bad overclockin bios, or did I missed some settings which should be disabled/enabled?

Edit:
I'm about to flash back to F6 and see if its still there. @BIOS has still a mirror availible with F6, can it hurt flashing back?

Go to the bios and go into the Q flash utility then load the default bios i think you can do that then flash to F6. I would wait for the F8 bios i think it is as that adds 1333MHZ FSB i think lol... plus no problems with the F8 bios on my DQ6 :). You could try pushing your CPU a bit more increasing the volts that is :D.

Nevermind this guys, I will defenatly SKIP F7 next time. It just CRAP, my mobo didnt even wanted to post at 301fsb, while it was on 380 on F6. @BIOS had a old mirror with the F6 bios still on it. Flashed, restarted, mobo didn't wanted to post. Removed battery and reseated, all fine. Thank God for the Dual Bios. All Fixed, req to be closed.

Btw, the 1333mhz support was in F7, for the DS4. And I will increase my overclock, when it's needed, I'm happy for now.

I can second that. The first thing I did with my shiny new DS4 was flash the bios to F7 before attempting some overclocking. A couple of days of on-off cycle reboots later and nothing stable beyond 280FSB I was ready to accept that I had a dodgy one, but I thought I'd give F6 a go just in case.

Result - 400Mhz FSB on first time of asking and totally stable with an 8X multiplier (C2D E6600). I'll think twice before flashing away this kind of overclock. :D

i agree that the f7 bios is dire. i tried it didnt seem as stable as normal. but then again i cant get my cpu stable over 355fsb ( e6600) even with watercooling

I have F6 and its fine, get 400FSB no probs, my mate has a DS3 and has updated to F9 (I think thats the latest) and now BF2 wont load, very weird, nothing else has changed and he's running default....

Relating to this, i just finished installing my E6600 and DS4. Its running bios F5 and i've used Easy Tune to o'clock the chip to 2735MHz (15% increase). Temps are 38oC for system and 26oC for cpu.
Is there a need for me to update the bios to F6, if everything seems fine?
Side note: anyone know why Easy Tune has a hazard sign on the cpu in hardware monitor and the fan reads 0?
