I overclocked the cpu to 3.35ghz yesterday and the computer ran solidly all day. I shut the computer down for the night and it shutdown without any trouble. But this morning, my computer booted up with stock settings  I didn't switch it off at the mains or anything like that, so I don't see why it should have lost the settings? It's really frustrating! Does anyone know what's happening?

Try lowering o/c to something like 460fsb....mine has no prob,s starting from cold At that speed...if you wish to run higher that's one thing you'll have to get used to is to enable o/c from cold.:)

Are you using EastTune or the BIOS? If it's EasyTune you have to save your overclock settings then set ET to load the saved settings at reboot. Right-click on the tooltray icon to get that option.

id the BIOS isn't saving at all then you should need to set the time again which would indicate a duff battery.
