DS4 Or P5B Deluxe?

Hello

I am currently tryin to decide which of these 2 boards would be best for my needs and would appreciate any help you can provide. My system is going to be as follows:-

E6600 CONROE CPU
2GB GEIL ULL 6400 800 DDR2 RAM
ASUS P5B DELUXE OR GIGABYTE DS4 MOTHERBOARD
BFG GEFORCE 8800 GTS 320MB
ARCTIC FREEZER 7 PRO CPU COOLER
2X SEAGATE BARRACUDA SATA 7200.10 250GB
OCZ POWERSTREAM 520 PSU
AUDIGY 2

I am hoping to clock the e6600 to about 3.2-3.4 with that setup and would need raid 0 for my two hd's, onboard sound doesn't bother me. I am very new to ocing so I woudl like to know if oen board is a better or easier oc than the other.

DS4 is a good overclocker but the P5B Deluxe is more stable and a better overclocker, but if you would have said the DS3 now thats cheaper

well i have found the ds4 for £101 and the p5b deluxe at £123. Would you say the P5B deluxe is worth the difference?

the P5b deluxe is a great board. Its quirky, but then most good overclockers are.

With the latest bios its working very well for me. There is a v-droop problem, but thats not too serious. Otherwise I cant really complain...

I mate

just my opinion

P5B de luxe,right out of the box
( just with 910 bios updated)

board with no mod´s,intel stock cooler
but the Intel Xeon CD2 is also a great chip ( wich helps a lot)
(better silicon waffer than normal CD2)
Ballistyx PC2 5300 are top quality too

and at least, besides the PSU is very cheap ( 50 euros)it´s a very reliable and strong LC Power 550W Giant Green Power

I´have this system for 2 months now,and everithing running fast and strong,no issues

PS- I use 2 WD 2500YS RE @ raid 0 in the Intel ICHR8 SB with XP
easy to install, running great
also i have Vista Ultimate 32bits, but in another HDD( dual boot system)
but I read in some place people having trouble installing Raid 0 in Vista Ultimate 64 :confused:

With an E6600 you will reach the CPU limits before either of these motherboards max out. Both are great choices.

You want the P5B for the E6600, supposed to be the better boards for those chips, the DS4 is better for the E6300/E6400, i just got the DS4 as im not a clocker.

i wouldn't agree with the above statement, my p5b and 6400 does pretty well, 3.4ghz on stock volts :S
