Hi there, this is my first build and I'm relatively new to the whole overclocking scene, basically I've just built my rig, got it all to work =D and now want to overclock it and I have a few questions.

1. When I overclock the CPU, I reduced the RAM multiplier, however, when I've found the right CPU clock, how do I get the ram back up to 1066 MHz, as if I put the multiplier back up, because the Bus speed has increased, the RAM speed is too high :S

2. When I look in CPU-Z, the bus speed seems to be what the CPU clock is derived from, however when I overclock my CPU the FSB ALSO rises... my motherboard has an effective FSB of 1600... so how do I raise the CPU clock without raising the FSB, as eventually my overclock will be bottlenecked by the FSB

1 - It's very unusual to be able to run your memory at exactly 1066mhz when overclocking. You'll just have to use the closest memory multiplier you can, and then try to tighten the timings.

2 - Your motherboard is capable of running at well over a 2000mhz FSB.
