DS4 sata and raid driver?

Hi, just a quick question.. is the sata and raid driver required at all? Its the one that ships on the cd and is available on their website.

Everything is working fine without it i'm just wondering if there are any benefits to installing it considering I don't even use raid...

Well is called sata and raid driver and not sata raid dirver so thought it might actually have sata drivers... nevermind.. Good to know.
