DS4 with Vista

The work around would be to make a bootable floppy or CD and use that to flash you bios.

You don't even need to do that.
Put just the BIOS file onto a floppy disk.
Go into the BIOS and hit F8 for the Update screen.
Choose the option "Update main BIOS from Drive" and that's it - the disk doesn't even need to be bootable.

I will however say be careful with the F7 BIOS.
I've just had hours of downtime trying to get my machine working again after I flashed my Main BIOS to that revision.
I'm back to F6 now and I'm a lot happier.

I've got a Vista Premium machine with a DS4 in it and it updates fine.

1. Make sure you have the latest version of the @BIOS update program
2. Make sure you tick the 'Internet Update' Box
