DSL Filters

Hi Guys,

I need to get some new DSL Filters as the ones here currently are turning the phone line into utter rubbish, and suffering poor sync speeds after a while as well.

Are there any to stay away from - or are they much of a muchness?

Much of a muchness.

However, you could invest in an XTE-2005 faceplate and decent quality RJ11 cable. You wouldn't need any filters on extensions then.

The 'professional' microfilters give me about an extra 1.5mbit download (11mbit -> 12.5mbit) vs. the z-350 microfilters that come with most home broadband products.

They also cleared up the hiss on the line which I can only attribute to the rubbish filtering.

Could you suggest a professional filter? (I.e. model name, as to not name competitors)
