Hi,

I am looking for a reasonable bag for my 7D DSLR with a standard walk around lens.
I wouldn’t mind a Lowpro as I have lens case were I can attaché using the slip knot system.

Which bags should I be looking at please ?

As for use, well day trips out and about in the UK and possibly aboard. Some I can sling in the car and not worry my gear will get damage.

Being a little vague at the moment as I am open to suggestions

I use an old camera bag (for padding) inside a simple drawstring Nike rucksack & is water resistant too.
Advantage being it dont look like a camera bag.

I have 2 dslr,i use a lowepro nova 200 to carry everything and a lowepro 202 slingshot to carry one camera and 3/4 lens and other stuff.

what i have

case logic sling

one dslr with normal size lens (fits my 100mm macro) and has a suspension rubbery flap which the lens goes through but camera doesnt

you can also fit a slightly longer lens in the side pocket
i usually have a memory card spare in a tiny compartment on the strap
i often put my mobile phone in the front compartment
in the other side i usually have things like my remote shutter , small items

I ended up with a Lowepro Fastpack 250 as I wanted something that could fit dslr + 70-200 f2.8 lens + 15" rMBP

I'm happy with it & it's one of the cheaper lowepro bags too :)

I really wanted the pro trekker... but the price of that is simply insane!
