DSLR Camera at the emirates?

I've seen people take in smaller models like the 40D or D3100 with small lenses attached without a problem but I'm not sure if they'll let you take in something like your 70-200.

Your best bet would be to ring them up and ask.

EDIT:

From the site:

Cameras/Video cameras
Cameras and video cameras are allowed to be brought into the Stadium but due to copyright laws they can not be used when players are on the pitch. This also includes the players warm up session.

Weird, I've seen loads of people snapping away with small DSLRs during games.

Phone up and ask is the best bet, some grounds are funny about people taking in professional looking cameras.

i dont think they would allow me to take my 70-200mm mk2 as many pro togs use that but i was thinking of taking my tamron 17-50 instead and taking off my battery grip on my 400d to make the camera look smaller

I have yet to attend a match where there haven't been asian tourists in front of me snapping/filming away. They will search your bag going in.
