DTS & ffdshow?

I can play 5.1 DD with ffdshow and media player classic but can not get DTS? The source is DTS! I’ve got a standalone AV amp, I can play DTS via PowerDVD Ultra 7. is there a simple setting I am missing or is DTS a problem?

I’m using the on-board sound on the motherboard in my spec

AC-3 and DTS to SPDIF in FFDSHOW Audio options.
No problem with FFDSHOW DD/DTS here.
