DTV on one screen while playing a game on another screen!?!

Everytime i try to load a game while watching dtv on my other screen it doesnt work and you can only see the game, are there any settings i need to do so this is possible;

2x19" widescreen
x1900xt

I can play a game whilst watching TV on my other monitor but if I play something in PowerDVD my digiTV software just shows a black screen.
