Dual 5.25 drive bay needed.

Hi.

I've been trawling Amazon, Ebay and even Google images for the last few months but no luck so far. I need a drive bay to mount a DVD drive and hot swap drive caddy, hopefully USB and with an internal power supply, not the hated wall wart. Even OWC don't have anything suitable. Do any of you know of anything suitable?

Hi.

Why cant you just fit a dvd drive and a single hot swap drive into your case or do you want external ?

Hey there.

Small case, would be hard to fit even another SSD inside, plus it would be useful to move around sometimes.

Usb dvd drive and a 3.5/2.5 inch external caddy to hot swap the drives.

Dont think theres anything to do a 5.25 and 3.5 together .

Silverstone TJ-08 - two external 5.25" bays and one external 3.5" plus four internal 3.5". I have a Blu-ray writer and a SATA drive cradle in the 5.25" bays and a USB 3 hub in the 3.5".

Thanks for that, a bit too big. Might have to order two single bays from OWC and glue them together.

Not completely sure what you are after.

There are very few 5.25" external boxes available these days. I can only find two and this one https://www.overclockers.co.uk/icyb...cd-dvd-and-3.5-hdd-ib-550stu3s-hd-097-bt.html is half the price of the other.

Another case suggestion is the Silverstone SG02. Still not tiny but 22.5 litres compared with 30 for the TJ-08.
