Hi All
I wonder if anyone can help me. I have Vista 64bit which is proving to be a bit of a bum because i have some hardware that requires drivers which are not likely to be around for months and months.
I had a bit of a brain wave and wondered if it was possible to keep the system as it is, add another hard disk with XP on it and then somehow get the system to ask at start up which i would like to run ie
Vista or XP
Anyone know if this is possible and how to do it?

Is the OS already installed on the other hard drive? Unplug your current hard drive and install it if not, then plug them both back in. Set whichever you want to use most of the time as the default boot option.

Most BIOSs will have a key to choose the boot method when they boot, pressing this will allow you to get into your other OS. If you don't have such a key, then either change the boot order manually each time, or get some third party booting software such as GRUB to install to the MBR.

Yes, it's possible.
