Dual Boot advice

I have Vista on one Hard Drive. I have a spare hard drive that i want to put XP on. How do i get to choose which one i boot to when the PC loads up? I have not installed XP yet. Thanks

You should be presented with two options at boot up and you select whichever you want.

it's not as simple as that. you would do if you installed xp first and then vista afterwards. but the OP has vista installed, and wants to add xp....

i saw this tutorial in another thread the other day. not sure if it works though....

just select wich hdd you want to boot up in your bios
that way you do have to have the bootloader

No, i want a bootloader to do it for me.

So, how do i install XP on a 2nd hard drive, leave vista on the existing HD but when the PC boots have the option to boot to either? The Tutorial above is for putting XP on the same HD. Not what i am after.
