Ok,

What would be the easiest way to do this.....

Current config:

Vista drive - 5.56gb free of 37.2gb (40gb hdd)

XP - 10.6gb free of 48.8gb (250gb hdd partition1)
Data - 34.2gb free of 184gb (250gb hdd partition2)

I also have a 160gb NAS box.

I basically want to move vista to my 250gb partition 1 and XP to the 40gb. I can uninstall some applications from my xp install to reduce the size.

Would this be possible to do? Ive got Acronis which I think I could do it with.

Just had to shift around my OS partitions last week & was a messy job! Lots of NTLDR, etc missing & PC would either boot into one OS & not the other or not boot at all  For that, helped having both OSes CD/DVD to FIXBOOT, etc.

A very useful program to have is VistaBootPRO (here). It can edit Vista's BCD. For XP, simply edit BOOT.INI using notepad.

& you'll also need a disk management program like Acronis Disk Director (here) ;)
