Dual boot option disappeared

I installed Windows Vista on a partition last week alongside Windows XP, and i would get a menu at startup so i could choose to run either Vista or XP. I had to re-install XP yesterday and now the dual boot screen doesn't show up! It just goes straight into XP

Any way to fix this?

You might want to check the windows boot.ini file you may have to re-added the partition vista is installed on.

When you reinstalled XP it will have overwritten Vista's bootloader with the 'old' NTloader again. The problem with them using a new bootloader is you can't just add entries into XP's bootloader to boot vista. The only program I can think of which might be able to fix it without reinstalling vista (not sure if it actually can, just a guess) is VistaBoot Pro.

Or go to vista recovery consolde and fixmbr?

That what I did when I could not boot Vista, I used the vista DVD to repair the boot file
