Hi all, i am back again, I HAD a dual boot set up with both my 150gb raptors, one XP one Vista, then the Vista boot went for a dump (on its way to WD now).
I then installed Vista on another drive (an old 120 gb pata) and its realllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllly noticibly slower (maybe its just not perfect install) and my dual boot option is still routing the Vista to the old install.
I know i should be able to BCDEDIT and change the settings etc but i cant get into that for some strange reason.
My question is:
to get windows to auto set up the dual boot menu,
what OS do i install FIRST, im faily sure i have to install XP then Vista after?
Two sep HDDs not a partition, both Sata, XP PRO and Vista UL X64.
