dual boot query

im thinking of creating a dual boot of windows xp home, and 95 (runs a game programming platform i used to use), ive aquired an IDE hdd that i was going to install 95 on, just have a few questions before i try to do so.

1. can i just install the drive, and install 95 straight from the CD on to it?
2. is there a chance my xp installation on a different SATA drive might get corrupted? (really wudnt want that to happen)
3. prob most importantly, will windows 95 actually run on my system.

Asus A8ne
1Gb DDR
Radeon x550 (soon to be upgraded)

You can right click an icon in XP and run it in windows 95 mode...

The GPU may be a problem.

the compatibility wizard doesnt work, the program runs in dos, i can get it to run if i create a dos boot disk and boot in dos, but theres no dos sound drivers.

Ever used Dosbox?

I use it for some old games. Got quite a few classics I play through it. Just works like Dos.

Dosbox includes support for sound and allows you to change the speed of the program your running.
