I have windows 7 x64 and would like to duel boot with vista x86, i have a formatted partition on a hard drive in my pc.

The question is.

If i install vista will i lose my operating system i have now or will the computer install the duel boot menu without touching my current system.

You don't need EasyBCD at all. Windows is quite capable of doing it by itself. Though EasyBCD is a handy tool for when things go **** up or if you installed an OS with no others already on the system [for example, I unplug other OS HDDs to avoid any chance of nuking something! :p].

I have another question, if i want to delete the windows vista and duel boot menu after, how will i do it.

You can just reformat the partition from the other O/S, however you'll always be stuck with two partitions unless you go with a third party partioniner such as GParted.
