dual boot with 2 hdds

i want to dual boot vista 64 and windows 7 candidate release
vista 64 is currently intalled on c, as my main os.
whats the best way to get win 7 installed and running as a dual ? im after advise please

You should just be able to do the install and choose the second drive as the install location. If it has the same/similar bootloader to Vista it should automatically see the Vista partition and give you the option on boot which you want to use.

I have both Vista & 7RC on my harddrive at the moment, I basically just created a new partition & installed it onto that, then used a program called "vistabootPRO" to add them & it allows me to select which O/S to load upon bootup. not sure if that's what your asking, hope it helps
