Dual Booting

Can anyone tell me how i go about setting up a dual boot, so that i can select which OS i want to load.

I've just installed the Vista Beta, but want to be able to get into XP easily, rather than going into into BIOS and changing which is the primary h-drive all the time.

You will need to alter the boot.ini file in XP to show it the directory of the new windows install.

ok stupid question but where can i find this file, i've done a search but nothing is found.

Go to folder options and select the show hidden files and folders. Should be in the C: drive, I think. :confused:

try pressing f8 on the bios screen and you might be able to choose which drive to boot from rather than having to enter ths bios? mine does.... :cool:

other than that, i don't think messing the boot.ini on the xp drive will make any differece. vista has it's own bootloader which is completely different to previous windows versions.
