Ive got the 32bit vista version, does it not matter what version off xp ive got? I think its 32 anyway.

Just tried to install the chipset drivers that came with the ds3p and run the cd and it said 'this version of Xpress install does not support Win 98/ME'. I ran the cd ok in xp.

Yer I did mean vista, how have they already got them?

Iam trying to stick to the sticky when install win

1. Install Windows
2. Any Service Pack from Windows
3. Motherboard / Chipset drivers
4. Direct X update
5. Graphics Card drivers
6. Other Hardware drivers inc. sound, modem, LAN (etc)
7. Critical Updates from Windows Update

Shall I just got straight onto step 6 and setup the internet then use those links for the graphics drivers?

Thanks for this Gareth :D

It doesnt say install the operating systems on separate hard drives in the sticky. It says install them on separate Logical drives which are created in disk managemenet in a created partition.

still works ether way...

Yeah vista and xp i think have to be on seperate partitions, for xp and older though, doesn't have to, u can even have (just an example) 5 copy's of xp and 1 of 98 or whatever on 1 partition, myself have had 2x xp and 98 se on 1 partition, vista had to be installed on a second I think as it never asked for directory only for drive.
