Dual channel or triple??

I'm getting confused again

I currently have 14GB RAM;
2 x 4GB Corsair Vengeance CML8GX3M2A1600C9 9-9-9-24 @ 1.5V
3 x 2GB OCZ Gold Series OCZ3G1600LV6GK 8-8-8 @ 1.65V

Now, last time I tried to overclock, I had a few problems. I think it was due to the different RAM voltages.

So my question, what would be better; the 8GB running dual channel, or 6GB in triple channel?

I've done some reading, wish I hadn't! Now have a headache! I'm swaying for the 8GB though. Thoughts?
