Dual Channel

Going to be getting.....

GeIL 2GB (2x1GB) PC6400C4 800MHz Ultra Low Latency DDR2 Dual Channel Kit

Now... will this dual channel be an automatic thing or will i need to mess around and set it up myself via the BIOS or something?

It will be automatic when used in the correct slots on a dual channel ready motherboard.

check the manual to find the correct slots for dual memory. i've found different manufacturers like to use different slots. some are labelled one and two, some are coloured coded but not next to each other etc you can also see when it boots it should say single or dual memory when it does a memory check.
