Would have to be in multiples of 2 as in the name *DUAL*

You could, the price of DDR2 RAM atm means it's crazy not to just get another stick.

Yes you can run 3 sticks, it just won't be in dual channel mode.

Thank you. am running two stick at mo but just bought same ram for partners pc, which dont like two stick in it. rather then have it sitting in packet thought i could make use of it in gaming rig.

Shove it in.

It would be more useful to have the extra ram than to have less daul channel ram.

Edit: Your sig says 4gb? Dont bother if running 32bit OS

You could post up here the problems getting the 2 sticks to work for your partners system and we could have a go at getting that to work.?
