Is the dual core hotfix for Windows XP worth installing? Haven't particularly noticed any problems, but alt-tabbing is not as quick as I thought it would be...

imo, all hotfixes are worth installing (WU ones or hardware specific anyway) otherwise MS wouldn't have gone to the trouble of making them

having newer file versions which have been improved and fixed holes is a good thing, and gives better future compatability with software vendors (inclucing MS)

They are only worth installing if you have "cool-n-quiet" enabled in the bios. If you are overclocking then you should have it disabled in the bios anyway.
