Dual Core Hotfix KB896256 from Microsoft

I cannot seem to get this Hotfix to install :/

Everytime it says it has installed I restart the machine, but when I check the Add/Remove programs list there is no reference (and there should be) to any 896256 Update.

Why is it not installing :/

Has anyone noticed any increased performance after applying this hotfix at all?

Well, kinda wierd you posted this on the same day I installed it, checked and could not see it listed in the Add/Remove panel.

Just assumed it had installed or was already merged with my SP2 install media.
