Hey all,

Just a simple question....

I currently have a Dual Core processor - E6600 to be precise - Would it be worth upgrading to a Quad Core - The Q6600 Maybe?

If you're having to ask the question, I'd have to say no... Search might also help you out, been a lot of threads on this subject lately...

Well to be fair it has been missing for a while, but has just made a welcome come back :)

Basically if you're running an overclocked dual and only game, then at the moment you're not going to notice difference. Do you use any apps which utilise a quad core? Also do you run more than one app at a time? This is where a quad comes into its own for me as I multi task a lot and the quad is superb for that.

I game a lot and the most multitasking I do is if I have photoshop, notepad++ and internet explorer open at one time. None of them (Apart from photoshop) too system intensive. I think I'll stick with my Dual Core for now!
