Dual core stuttering

Need help with my opty 165. When I originally installed it I didnt have any problems. Now I have changed mobos and get stuttering no matter what I try. Have tried all the fixes etc and new HDD GFX etc. Could my cpu be borked? Will be changing mobo again tonight but any other suggestions would be appreciated.

Why speculate, try the new board and update the thread if that hasnt solved the problem.

Stuttering can be caused by many things.

Looks like my mobo is knackered. Oh well.

Yup formatted and tried both xp and Vista with sata and ide drives, different gfx cards and memory which left my mobo as the suspected culprit.

Mobo is an EPOX 9npa+ Ultra

Do post back if a change of mobo resolves your problems. I'm sure plenty of others on here would be interested to know if it is the mobo that turns out to be the culprit.

hmm got same problem with the exact same board... had so many problems with it lately that im geussing its just anothing thing to add to its list...
