My mate wants me to sort out some way to get his dual display to do everythign he wants it to!
He wants to be able to send a video signal to the second monitor, and he also wants either a slide-show of Pictures, or the screen saver to work on the seond monitor too!
I have been over there, and I have sorted out his video issues fairly simply, by having the dual display set to SPANNED, and using almost any Video Player, simply dragging the window over, and double clicking the window, expands it... Easy yes!
Now, with a spanned display, we get another problem... Trying to display picture in a slideshow, either shows the pic in one or the other video, sometimes it stretches it, sometimes we stare as a blank screen on one of the other, and its not what he wants.
Another way, I tried to do it, was simply to CLONE the displays..
This gets us the ScreenSaver / Slideshow problem sorted, however, videos just dont lpay at all on *** second screen?
They play fine on the main screen.
Is there any way to get videos to play right on both screens?
The main screen is a standard SVGA Monitor, the second screen is from the S-Video connection on his nVIDIA GeForce MX420
Any help will be spanking, ta
