Hi

Ok so I have 2 outputs on my gfx card and I want to have setup as the following :-

One into my monitor (1280x1024, 75hz)
One into my LCD TV (1360x768, 75hz)

I don't need to have the gfx card to display simultaneously on both screens, One at a time would be perfect. I want it so when choose display the other will turn off (this happens automatically when my monitor or tv has no live connection). Last of all and this will be the icing on the cake, I want to map 'changing of display' to my remote so I can switch between them.

All I've been able to do so far was extend the desktop. 1 screen was working correctly but the other just had the wallpaper showing.

Thanks,
Marcus

UltraMon is what you'll want.

You can save multiple display profiles, which you should be able to automate via a remote (possibly via a 3rd party program).

When you go into Display Properties and you were able to "Extend the desktop onto this monitor", you can also tick the "Make this display primary" box and then select the other and untick the "extend..." box - switching off one or the other. (Note, the actual text might not be that exactly, I'm doing it from memory ;))
