hey guys i have 2 x samsung syncmaster 940bw, i currently have dual display set up but i cant see any optinion to stretch(full screen) over both displays. rather then having an extended desktop. any help would be much appriciated!

I don't think vista lets you do this any more, I'm sure I saw someone mention it in a thread on here somewhere and a quick google for "vista horizontal span" revels that its a problem.

hmm, i now have the taskbar over 2 screens, but for example if i'd like to watch a movie i want it to display full screen over both monitors where at the moment if i start a movie its just on my primary monitor

That's one of the problems I was talking about, The only way I managed to get a video to play spanned across both screens was switching to Horizontal Span mode in catalyst control centre, however I think this is what vista wont let you do. I found that spanning movies wasn't worth it, the bezels in the middle outweighed the large screen size.
