I'd appreciate a bit of help regarding using two different displays with one GPU.
I've got a 980 ti connected to a 4k 60Hz tv via HDMI and a 1080p 144Hz monitor via displayport.

The problem is that when both displays are connected and turned on the 144Hz screen is limited to 60 Hz.
If I turn the tv off then the monitor goes back to 144Hz. What I want to know is: is the 980 ti capable of outputting the two displays at the same time at their native resolutions and refresh rates?

Thanks for the responses.

It turns out that all I had to do was choose the "PC" 1920x1080 resolution in the nvidia control panel and then the 144Hz option would become available. It was defaulting to the "Ultra HD, HD, SD" 1080p, 1920x1080 (native) and 60 Hz was the highest refresh rate available.

This is useful so I can have sound outputting from my GPU again and use the 144HZ monitor at the same time.

EDIT

Now I have another problem. The 144Hz display flickers and goes blank when they are extended but it stops when I make the 60Hz one my main display.
